Swiss stocks closed little changed on Monday. Roche Holding AG rose 0.6 per cent. Basilea Pharmaceutica AG soared 4.7 per cent.
The Swiss blue-chip index SMI, a measure of the largest and most actively traded companies, rose 0.02%, or 1.35 points, to 6,189.86. The broader Swiss Performance Index fell 0.10%, or 5.47 points, to 5,675.81.
"There's a topic change in international financial markets," said Reto Huenerwadel, a senior economist at UBS AG in Zurich.
"Greece is moving away from the focus of investors who can now turn their attention to the broader global economy and Chinese economic indicators."
