"The salvation of the country, remaining in the euro, means great sacrifices"
- Evangelos Venizelos, Greek finance minister
Greece's government is preparing a final version of an agreement on budget and structural measures required for a 130 billion euro bailout, said a Greek government official.
"The Greek government is working on the final document that will be discussed at the political leaders' meeting later [on Tuesday]," said a government official on condition of anonymity.
"The salvation of the country, remaining in the euro, means great sacrifices," Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos said on Monday after his meeting with troika representatives.
"It is clear we are going into another drama for Greece with many questions unanswered," said Patrick Legland, head of research at Societe Generale SA. "It's kind of a catch-22 where they have to reduce their deficit but there is no growth. It's very tricky."
