Under Armour shows mixed results

Under Armour recently announced its Q2 2025 results. In general, the firm has managed to surpass forecasts despite decreasing revenues. Moreover, the future outlook has been updated to a more positive.

Total revenue has reached $1.4 billion, surpassing consensus expectations by $15 million. Estimated earnings per share were $0.193 dollars, reported earnings per share were 55% higher at $0.30 dollars.

Meanwhile, domestic revenue decreased by 13% to $863 million, global revenue dropped 6% to $538 million. Wholesale revenue fell by 12% to $826 million, and direct-to-consumer revenue has decreased by 8%, totalling $550 million. 

However, revenue is expected to decrease in the low double-digit percentage zone, while increasing gross margin by 25 basis points. Multiple analysts have raised price targets for the Under Amour stock in near term, taking in consideration updated fiscal 2025 outlook, provided by the company.

The initial news caused a surge of the stock price, but as markets looked into the declining revenue, the shares have given up some of their gains.

Walt Disney delivers on quarter and year

Disney posted strong Q4 results, with segment operating income up 23% and adjusted EPS rising 39% to $1.14. For the year, segment operating income grew 21%, and adjusted EPS increased 32% to $4.97.
