Microsoft stock reaches new record

On Thursday, the stock price for Microsoft for the first time ever reached above the 250.00 USD mark, as during the early hours of the day's trading the stock gained more than 1.00%.

In addition, since March 31, the stock has gained almost 10.00% in value.

The surge started, as Microsoft announced that it had won a $21.9 billion contract for the US Army.
