The Australian Dollar is appreciating against the Japanese Yen in a short-term ascending channel. This movement began on July 3 when the pair bounced off its lower boundary.
The short-term junior pattern upper border was tested on July 19 and made a U-turn south. Currently, the currency pair is bouncing between SMAs at the time of this analysis. The 55– and 100-hour SMAs was providing resistance, while the 200-hour simple moving average was providing support.
Everything being equal, it is likely that the AUD/JPY currency exchange rate breaks out from the SMAs today. Technical Indicators favour a southern breakout.
