By the middle of the European trading session on Monday, the New Zealand Dollar has revealed a new ascending channel against the US Dollar. Though, that does not automatically indicate that the pair should surge within the next 24hrs.
After the exchange rate hit the upper boundary of a dominant descending channel and the weekly PP at 0.6972, the pair made a brief retracement south. Meanwhile, the price is bouncing between the 55– hour SMA and the monthly pivot point at the time of this analysis.
Everything being equal, the currency exchange rate is likely to decline during the following trading session until a breakout through the lower boundary of the channel up occurs.
