The New Zealand Dollar has been depreciating in a descending channel against the US Dollar after the pair touched the upper boundary of a junior channel down on April 19.
The bearish movement might continue to be in play during the next trading session. However, the decline has been temporarily stopped by the weekly pivot point at 0.6976 at the time of this analysis.
Meanwhile, traders should watch out for a breakout through the southern border of the junior channel within this day. In addition, technical indicators favour bears to continue their dominance over the currency pair during the following trading session.
