Financial markets crash on Black Monday

The Friday's sell-off has accelerated. The Japanese financial markets have crashed overnight. The US Dollar index is approaching the 102.00 mark, pushing other currencies up. Meanwhile, the US stock market is crashing, as the volatility index, which is called the fear index, is above the 60.00 mark.

Due to the drop of the US Dollar, various peer currency pairs have surged. The EUR/USD has hit the 1.1000 mark. The GBP/USD is highly volatile between the 1.2700 and 1.2800 levels. The USD/JPY has plummeted even further, however, the 142.00 level is acting as support. In regard to gold, the 2,390.00/2,400.00 support range has failed, as gold falls together with other equity.

Meanwhile, the crypto markets have led the decline. Bitcoin has plummeted to 50,000.00. Ethereum had almost touched the 2,100.00 mark during the morning hours.

US stock indices are showing declines not seen for decades. The USA 500 index is down almost 4.00%. USA Tech index is down almost 2.50%. In the meantime, USA 30 index has declined 2.30%

In the meantime, the European markets are already down. German top 40 stock index is down almost 8.00%. The UK stocks have lost 5.50% of their value. Although, the French stocks are down just 2.60%.

In regard to top mega market capitalization stocks. AAPL is set to gap down almost 10.00% by starting the day below 200.00. NVDA will start the day near 94.00 and loose 12.35%. TSLA is expected to start the day at 187.92 and lose 9.51% of its value. MSFT is set to lose just 5.00% by opening at 388.00.
