currently it is possible to start the JForex platform automatically, see https://www.dukascopy.com/wiki/#Auto_launching. This allows launching, signing in and starting a strategy to be done using a command line such as those found in the wiki web page. This only works for the webstart JForex.

Would the technical team be kind enough to add the same facility to new versions of standalone JForex? This would be much smoother and quicker.

Autologon is available in JForex 3 under advanced settings on webstart only for now. Will be available in installable version 1.7 soon.

Automated launching of local strategies will not be possible as it is much more convenient to use our remote server for this.

The webstart version has been reliable in practice so I would not be too disappointed if autologon and strategy launch were not available for the installed version of JForex3. However, I think that running my strategy remotely will not be possible as it needs access to external parameter files and may require too much RAM to comply with Dukascopy's constraints. So, if Dukascopy is not planning on making autolaunching of strategies available on JForex3 would you ensure that it remains available on webstart JForex and that webstart JForex will continue to be available for those who cannot use the remote option for their strategies?

It will remain possible to launch the platform and local strategies via command line.

Autologon will be possible from UI as well. But no UI for the strategies auto start, as this feature is not popular.
