Hello
I am trying to test my strategy on the jforex historical tester, but it is taking almost for ever even testing only last day period. At the same time I test other strategies from the contest with aprox the same amount of blocks as mine and it just goes light speed.

PC I have switched computers, tested on visual jfx tester and jfx platform tester, cleared java cache which by the way is up to date.

Hi,
Well, the indicators part is retrieving values every 10 sec for 5mn period based, this is the main reason why the HTester is very slow. I looked into that and I don't see the utility of such frequent indicaotrs value refresh.
You can check the attached exmaple that provides a simplied way of linkage.
Besides, there is a trick that can help to speed up the HT in VJF: removing or reducing the built-in portfolio indicators: Balance/ Equity and P&L ..
