Hello,
I am new in Dukascopy and JForex.

Before I start transfer my algorithm from mql4 to JForex I need to know:
"Avarage Order Execution Times on Remote Run" in real accounts.

I know, it depends the ECN liqudity providers and availability.

I want to ask if liqudity is available, for order execution time:
- What is the best scenario,
- What is the approximate avarage,
- What is the worst case,
in miliseconds.

I asked this question my customer suppport person,
He said abaout 400 ms!!!
I think it is huge, I can not believe him, so I decided to ask in here also.

Thanks for your attention,
I hope I asked this question in right place.

Emre

From my experience, most orders are executed within 1-2 sec. I trade solely highly liquid currencies though.

Thanks gdoban,

I am really disappointed about it (1-2 sec).
In demo account with MetaTrader Bridge it takes about 200 - 250 ms (with 70ms ping).
I thought that with Remote Run JForex, order execution times will be more smaller...

Therefore it seems that, high frequency automated Forex trading is not applicable with Dukascopy.

I don't want to give the name but one of the forex broker stated that their order execution times are about 5-6 ms with VPS in same datacenter.
So I am wondering to know is it possible (5-6 ms order exec. times) for ECN Brokers?

Thanks for you help,

Emre

Please read my topic about order execution time on Remote Run mode. I asked similar question early.
https://www.dukascopy.com/swiss/english ... 65&t=53009

The solution is not use Remote Run mode. Use VPS/VDS server near Dukascopy trading server and Local Run mode.

Yes, firstly do not use the Remote Run servers for high performance.
Instead have your own VPS or Dedicated server.

I recently have concentrated on using MetaTrader, and I am doing it
with the NJ4X framework (NJ4X.com). It is possible to use multiple MT terminal
processes to "parallelize" MetaTrader order execution, but that is not
something easy to do, and does require additional programming effort.
