Hi

I have noticed that multi-line text has extra CR characters inserted whenever the text is edited. This does not cause any issue for platform operation, but caused problems for my strategy program that manages drawn objects.

I attach workspace files that were saved each time text was edited, even making no changes to the text. You can see the number of CR characters grow each time.

We were unable to reproduce this. Please describe steps that can replicate this problem. Which chart object did you use?

Hi support

Steps to illustrate extra CR characters in the workspace file:
1. I suggest starting with a simple workspace, e.g. one chart with no drawings or indicators (just to keep the workspace file simple).
2. Add text to the chart and type two lines of text.
3. Save workspace.
4. Open the workspace file with a text editor to see the CR/LF character codes.

5. Select text, right button menu "Edit label". Make no change to the text, just press OK.
6. Save workspace.
7. Open the workspace file with a text editor to see the extra CR/CR/LF character codes.

Every time this process is repeated an extra CR code is inserted.

Again, this is not a problem for the platform operation, but it makes it difficult to programmatically handle the text drawn object.
