Hello Here is my simple strategy, I can't upload .vfs because the board attachment quota is full... It opens pending orders at previous candle open based on the candle before that candles close... works absolutely fine in demo but in historical tester in Jforex it doesn't actually place pending orders exactly at the previous candle open and also places the order before the candle is even closed. I have tried different values with the shift (prev4hr shift = 1 & current4hr shift = 0) to solve it placing pending order before the current candle closes but it doesn't put orders at all that way... Please help, thank you

Hi,
I've rebuilt your strategy as per the screenshot that you've posted and it looks fine in both VJF and Jforex historical tester: Orders are placed @the previous candle open. Can you please explain your query and illustrate this in a chart for example?
Also, you should be able to attach your vfs file as it can't be bigger than a picture file size, Kindly send us a screenshot of this error so that we can check.
Thanks

Hi Amine, Thanks for the reply, the strategy functions perfect for me in VJF but in Jforex historical tester as you can see in pic 1 the pending order is above the blue bear candle open In pic 2 likewise the pending order isn't at the grey bull candle open, its a little higher too... In historical tester it also places the order before the candle is closed, it should close then place the order... The pictures are hosted externally, I get an error saying the board is full when attaching .vfs Thanks

As you can see, I got an order submitted as per your specs, are you looking to a 4H EURUSD chart ? For the attachement upload issue, the problem will be solved shortly... Thx !!

Yes to four hour chart.. Ahh ok so when i change my Jforex Preferences, Day start time to GMT (UTC) i get the same chart as you and it works But when its set to EET (UTC+2 hours) it doesn't work & the pending orders aren't set at the open! I guess its a bug? Thanks again for the help Amine

Alright understood now... This is not a bug but a normal behavior: The day start time determines whether the candle will start @ 00:00 GMT or 2 hours ahead and this can change the candle data especially when looking to 4H candle and above. VJF is set by default to GMT time but if you need your strategy to trade on UTC time then I believe you need to do the change manually. I recommend you to double check in the automated trading forum for this query.
Thanks
