Recently I have been prompted for PIN even though the correct IP address range is registered. Could this have something to do with being logged into the same account from a different IP address simultaneously?

For us this is a great usability issue.

Also, the "Force connection" checkbox in advanced preferences is grayed out. Why could this be?

Force connection is not available if you authorize using the PIN. We are looking into the problems with the IP addresses.

Has there been any progress?

I am still being prompted for the pin code even though I am connecting from an IP address within a registered range.
