Dear Support,
Thanks so much for developing visual jforex.
May I request you to please make the online manual more detailed with lots of example.
This will help those not experienced to understand and reduce the questions posted in this forum.
I am a programmer in another computer programming language.
After watching the videos and reading the online manual I am sitting here helpless and not able to develop strategies via visual jforex.
Thank you so much for your help in advance.

Yes, sure, you can request it and we will work on it. The most manuals will be available here:

It would be good to add loads and loads downloadable examples and simple strategies into that online manual.

Can anyone from support tell us more about online support?

Another issue I just experienced is quite incomplete documentation of blocks in vjf.
For example block "multiple actions", when I press that small "i" giving me description of tool, it says:

Main Definition:
"Multiple Action" distribute 5 parallel flows, from 1 input flow. Output flow order of run, depends from flow order number. The first flow will be processed first, than second and so on. It very usefull if you need to make several independent actions, see image for example:

But where is image with example? Just my side error or images missing in general?

In Visual JForex Interface the images are not available, but you can find the full documentation inside helper:

Hello Visual Support,

The "Article List" section of "Welcome to Visual JForex documentation" ( https://www.dukascopy.com/vfhelper/artic ... tLocale=ru ) seems to be incomplete as the the links won't display any information. I have tried to open it with different browsers but to no avail.

Kindly advice,

Thanks

Hi,
can you please post us an example of your strategies which do not work?

Would be easier for us to help you.

That is so kind of you and thanks for the timely response.

Here is the request:

To open trade

ALERT Long entry when
close > 30sma by 7pips

ALERT Short entry when
close < 30sma by 7pips

To close trade

ALERT Long exit when
close > 5sma

ALERT Short exit when
close < 5sma

I need this strategy to scan all "subscribed instruments" simultaneously in an adjustable time frame (such as every 1minute or 5min or 60min) and give an alert anytime any pair meets the trade conditions.

Please be informed that my initial request( viewtopic.php?f=148&t=49393&p=75565&hilit=strategy+I+requested#p75565 )was responded to by Vadim( https://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/profile ... _berezhnoj ) at( viewtopic.php?f=148&t=49393&p=75760&hilit=Try+that+version.#p75760 ) but it was programmed to work with just one pair at a time and would need for me to develop a new strategy for every pair I am interested in.

Also note that I was adviced to first build a sample by Bruno( https://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/profile ... o_Grunberg ), of which I built( viewtopic.php?f=148&t=49393&p=75682&hilit=share+your+thoughts#p75682 )but could not get to work properly.

Thanks

Greetings!

I have looked into your strategy...

What do you mean with the variable in shift "pricecross30sma7pips"?

It is the the number of pips (7), the price must cross the 30sma before the alert is triggered.

Kindly peruse my earlier post of Mon 28 Oct, 2013, 09:13 on this thread to have an overview of the strategy's goal.

Thanks

Hi Dirk_r1,

Your version gave me great insight into the usability of my request.

This is with particular reference to the exit alert. I discovered it would be pointless having it enabled since it triggers the alert almost all the time hence very distracting.

I then decided to disconnect the exit blocks and to observe the entry blocks but the alert kept being triggered even when it was not suppose to.

In order to properly convey my expectations to you, I had to learn and build a similar but very simple version (kindly find attached). Be advised, that after due consideration, I had to omit the 7pips displacement condition.

Furthermore, I would like you to kindly upgrade this new strategy with the following capabilities:

1. the strategy should have the capability to monitor more than 11 pairs simultaneously

2. the new version should be able to display visual alerts (popups) on the trading platform such as “ Sell USDCHF” or “Buy EURUSD” dialogue boxes whenever the entry alert is triggered.

3. it should also at the same time, be able to play customised sound alerts (.wav files) other than the default alerts (i.e. Ring, Cash register, Bull etc).

Once again thanks for your concern, experience and endeavour.
