I use non-standard paths for my strategies, workspaces, charts, etc. Every time I switch between accounts, I need to go to Preferences->Advanced to set my paths and other settings. This has become a nuisance as Demo accounts expire every 2 weeks and I use several of them for testing. So I seem to have to set my platform preferences every day.

It would us a lot of trouble and time if the platform preferences can be saved permanently somehow even when we switch between accounts.

Correction: I just realized that my JForex preference paths are reset every time I restart my computer. Even if I use the same account. I am using linux.

If I open demo workspace pre-set from august contest, preferences can be opened, but because I cannot open the old workspace I even dont know what I have changed and how, because I cannot get on it.

I am sure more people than me have the same problem
sooner I will die than your help could come – so I answer myself - I did everything in new version of preferences again because I wanted to trade not wait..... hope it will last for longer than till end of september
