Dear API Support,
Is there a way to write an indicator that will paint the chart bars according to a custom rule? It could be useful to better visualize trends or overbought/oversold levels directly on the chart and not in a subchart.

You can make only an indicator or a strategy draw chart objects over the existing bars, but not replace them.
As an example consider Heikin Ashi indicator (source available in Standalone JForex API com.dukascopy.indicators.HeikinAshiIndicator).
You can also do this from your strategy - draw a chart object (for example, signal up) in onBar method above a just finished bar.
