It's great that Dukascopy API keeps getting updated but it's becoming extremely difficult to be able to run strategies in the platform since the API incompatibilities are becoming numerous. Additionally not having the old API version available (which I've written about before) makes the testing and coding process difficult. When can we expect a new Desktop version based on the most recent APIs and when will Dukascopy make available older APIs?

Dear support,
this is a great step, thanks a lot! What are your plans for a desktop-update? As we haven't seen udpates for a long time, I assume you are working on a major update. Could you please give us a rough indication about when we can expect a desktop update that includes the latest API? Is the update 'around the corner' or still months ahead?
Thanks for a feedback! Best, RR.

+1 on RoadRunner
Also - if you cannot provide an exact timeline, can you at least provide us the details of the exact API that the Client team are planning to integrate into the next release?
The current JForex Client is using an API version 2.6.38.1 - where can we find this specific version's jar + source files? I could only find 2.6.38 (which has a bug in the maven repository/script)

Dear support!
We develop many JForex strategies and test them in forward quality tests. But the many new releases and / or changes do kill long term tests or they will give different results if they are run on a demo or on a live version of JForex.
We recommend the following: Please provide us always with two JForex demo versions: * one which is the new demo release with new features and structures, also containing a document with the changed API methods. Here we can test everything without endangering everybody's development and we can give you beneficially hints for improvements before this version goes any further. * one which is the old demo release and is the same version as live. Therefore we can go for sure that our strategies and indicators can equaly run on the live and on the demo version.
What we also need: * Demo accounts that run for months, not for 2 weeks only. This would be very helpful, at least for us as developers.
Respectfully

Thank you for making the older code releases available! Today an update came out on the Live platform. Do you have a list of changes in this release? From what I can tell all it did was break the currency pair selector in the chart.
