Pending order and pop score.

I have a proposition for a much more fair contest regarding the pending orders and popularity points relationship.

Some people here abuse from this flaw in the system, they are opening pending orders with price far from the current market price just to accumulate more "likes" and comments in this way and when the market is near to trigger the order they cancel it.

Few people here abuse from this flaw in the system and to give you a recent example look on the rank nr1. He had a order on EURUSD to buy first at 1.3383 and than when market come to take that order he cancel it making another pending order with a lower entry.

He is cancelling his orders more than anyone else just to accumulate more likes and comments, he has no intention to get in the market with those orders just to manipulate the pop score.

So why not forbidden any comments and likes to pending order and allow them only if that order is triggered,it is much more fair.

well, first of all, thank you for pointing that out, as it hopefully will generate more traffic in my blog just because the traders come to count my canceled orders.

the numbers of unique visitors could be crucial in the end to get another 5 or 10 POP points.

to be honest, i dont know what to say, except that the studpidity in this attempt to degrade my trading style is an insult to intelligence itself.

the way you describe your "issue" shows that you probably have really no clue about the markets. my entry point was usually higher, i have written several comments
about this situation i expect. but the momentum was too strong when price came down to let the order pending and get filled and it showed this market anticipation
was correct as it dropped further. the same with the adjusted order.

i strongly believe that we will see deeper price levels today. i will probably also cancel this one, that is pending right now when i dont like the momentum of the move.

haters, please try at least to get real!

do you now also want to dictate where traders wait with their limit or stop orders?

look at my numbers:

1250 unique visitors and only 500 comments. this ratio is totally real as i am an active communcity member. look at some others who have 400 visitors and 1.000 comments.

you guys really start to entertain me day in and day out.

meanwhile i am really having fun to read all this as it makes me at least more and more POPULAR, even if some simple minded participants may combine "skytrader" through all the
haters brainwash attempts with false negative attributes.

he has more than 90+ cancelled order which has generate him more than 85 comments and 80 likes.......

He isn't making the mistake to comment on all his trades he has his tactics so no one can expose him.

the idea itself is old. it was me who brought that the first time in the forums.

the point is not totally useless.but in my case it is, because i dont do what Guest says systematically or with the intentions he assumes.

but others may do it.

if you search the forums, you can watch out for my opinion. i proposed way back in time that a trade
should start being commentable or likebale, when it in fact opens a position. because some traders may use this PENDING scheme systematically the way Guest descibes it.

i guess its too much effort to code this in the running system and this also is not a big problem, because in the final evaluation the
DUKASCOPY representatives surely detect this when it is getting expoloited systematically and with high comment numbers!

thats 20 percent canceled orders. i dont know how you trade, Guest 2, but i can imagine, that you trade like a total loser, when you think that 20% canceled orders is unusual.

DUKASCOPY has scanned my blog now already 3 times. and this month it will be the 4th time. and if there would be any irregularities like some of you haters surely perform regularily

Woah, I got really angry earlier,sorry about that homies. skytrader pulled off another snowshow. The syndicates were behind setting up the pop score and the syndicate's lider is skytrader.

Ritesh was know this flaw in the system. in 8/2011 he was 50 pop point n #1. I see many pending order was cancell.
after that Skytrader are use it in many months, everone can count pending order cancell on your blog. Skytrader is bad trader, alway have scandal on dukas about sky.

I think it's not owner but some emplaees on dukascopy

Pop Score cheat

I totally agree on the fact that popularity is a bad evaluation system, I already said that several times.... and it's totally true that some people abuse of it (I don't refer here to Shytrader who I respect for his trading skills). I hate polemics but I have just had a look at Milani's page and I'm stunned by what I see. Not even one trade done! but 13 pending orders (far from current prices), 10 of them already cancelled ... and all these cancelled/pending generating 143 comments and 126 votes!!! I think something is wrong with such a situation.... I don't know what other participants think, but that's for me is a nonsense....

And an other mistery, he's got a balance of 100.999 without any trade done.... How is it possible? Don't we all start with 100000?

Well, popularity evaluation system should definitively be changed to give it more sense, don't you think so?
