hi all,

this is a newbie question -

I reviewed the Wiki and compiled a few basic strategies.

I'm not happy with stand alone mode (doesn't seem reasonable to me to build a complete UI for testing purposes) and building strategies inside JForex is very limited (not a full blown IDE)

I'm looking for a hybrid approach:

I would like to develop my strategy in Eclipse (using the standalone SDK) and run an ANT script that compiles and wraps the strategy into the right folder in JForex for easy development<->deploy process.

It would also be great if someone can share information on how to remotely debug JForex from Eclipse so that I can easily attach to it and debug my strategy.

Can anyone share some build scripts that does that?

Consider using standalone in eclipse for writing your strategies and then open them in JForex client by full path in Workspace -> Strategies -> Open Strategy

Consider debugging your strategy in standalone.
