Hi,

Try to convert it with MQL4Connector:
viewtopic.php?f=110&t=43112

Please rename the file not to contain spaces, e.g. CycleIndicator.mq4.

The indicator converted OK, but there is need to introduce some tuning parameters for indicator to work also with current values (not to throw ArrayOutOfBounds exception) - this will be out with the next version of MQL4Connector.

This is why I mentioned this:

So the fix will be out with the next release of MQL4Connector version 2.6.38.3 and ConverterClient 1.2. Until then the indicator will show correct values up till the moment it got plotted on the chart.

Those properties don't get applied in the MQL4Connector.

Hi,

There is some work to be done till the new release of MQL4 Connector. I took another look at the indicator, and added a resetValues() function, which is crucial for JForex, but on MT4 the indicator will work the same. Find the indicator version in attachments CycleIdentifier2.mq4. I also added a strategy CycleFromStrat.java which calls the indicator to test if it works - and apparently it does - I tested it in Historical Tester (note that you have to select in strategy parameters the jfx file of the indicator that gets created after successful compilation).

Apparently the indicator needs a lot of inputs (a lot of inputs -> a lot of calculation -> performance issues which I addess now in the next MQL4 Connector version), so it works ok only at the plotting moment on the chart and when called from a strategy - as much as I tested.
