Economists wait for new ECB stimulus measures this week

According to the analysts' expectations, the ECB will most likely announce new support measures in the single currency area in order to withstand the low inflation and high unemployment level. Among measures, the forecasts vary from lowering key interest rate and making the deposit rate negative to the long-awaited quantitative easing program, which has not been practiced by the ECB yet.
