European shares fall from 14-year high today

The majority of European shares slightly declined on Wednesday with the benchmark stock index falling from the strongest level in a 14-year period reached yesterday after the Bank of England said it keeps rate at the current level. The London's FTSE 100 Index slipped as much as 0.2% to 6859 points, while the broader FTSEurofirst 300 Index dipped 0.25% to 1365 points.
