Natural gas rises as inventories fall amid cold weather in U.S.

Natural gas traded in New York increased on Thursday session before a government data revealed that inventories in the U.S. declined last week exceeding the five-year average notable as cold weather in the U.S. stays at the beginning of February. Natural gas for settlement in March gained 4.4% to $5.253 a million British thermal units on the NYMEX and was last seen at $5.212 as of 3:23 p.m. in Singapore.
