The New Zealand Dollar has declined by 1.29% against the Japanese Yen since this week's trading sessions. The currency pair breached the 50– and 200– period SMAs on April 22.
Currently, the exchange rate is trading near the lower boundary of an ascending channel pattern at 77.37 and could be set for a breakout.
If the breakout occurs, a decline towards the 76.00 level could be expected during the following trading sessions.
However, if the channel pattern holds, buyers are likely to pressure the NZD/JPY currency exchange rate higher next week.
