European stocks close on positive note

Europe's major stock markets finished Friday's trading session in the green driven by a rally in oil prices and gains  in the banking sector. Germany's DAX 30 Index added 0.85%, finishing at 9,631.36, while Britain's FTSE 100 Index rose 0.98%, closing at 6,008.96. Meanwhile, France's CAC 40 Index grew 0.98% to 4,193.83, and the pan-European Euro Stoxx 50 Index increased 1.06% to 2,849.17.
