Hello!
Multiple times I have encountered java IOException error when I try to launch JForex Demo on my system. There are two pictures attached describing the problem. I am using Ubuntu 14.04 and java 8 (Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_25-b17)). JForex is set to launch on startup with command "javaws -J-Djnlp.client.username=madbenjies -J-Djnlp.client.password=XXXXXX https://demo-login.dukascopy.com/client ... forex.jnlp", and usually this error occurs on startup (but not always). I also have a launch icon with the same exact command and usually it works with first try after the startup error, but today it took me 4 tries to get it running (all of the unsuccessful tries came up with the same IOException error). I feel that it happens randomly, I don't see any pattern.
Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated!

If I chage the jnlp address with the one suggested in previous topic (https://www.dukascopy.com/client/live/j ... forex.jnlp), I get this error - "Authentication failed. (-1)
Please check your login details", and takes me to the live login, and when I tried again I got the exact same previous IOEception error just with "https://www.dukascopy.com/client/live/jclient/jforex.jnlp" as the reason.
I suppose I have to change this like you mentioned in the previous topic-

But by changing the jnlp file I recon it doesn't change the address for "7zip-4.65.jar", and the problem is random, so how would I change that address which is causing the problem manually?

I just tried "https://live-login.dukascopy.com/client/live/jclient/jforex.jnlp" 5 times, and it gives me the IOException error only.

Of course, as you are trying to get into LIVE with DEMO login. You need to change the link to demo, of course:
https://demo-login.dukascopy.com/fo/platform/jForex/
