Hey guys! Would really appreciate if anyone could help me out. I have been trying to do this in Visual JForex but have been unsuccessful.
What I’m trying to do is pretty simple, I’m not trying to build a strategy, using indicators and so on, I just want JForex to create a buying staircase after I manually put in an initial Buy Stop and then JForex to manage the staircase.
Here is exactly what I need: 1. When I manually place a Buy Stop (BS1) at a specific price, I will also manually put in a 15 Pip Stop Loss below it and take profit of 200 Pips above. At this point I’m only risking 15 pips. 2. When the price hits BS1 I would like JForex to automatically put another Buy Stop 15 pips above with a Stop Loss at the BS1 price, and BS1 Stop Loss moved 15 pips above aka to break even, so at this point I’m still risking only 15 pips coming from the Second Buy Stop (BS2) 3. After price hits BS2 I want a 3rd Buy Stop automatically put in at 45 pips above BS1. 4. When the 3rd Buy Stop is hit, I would like JForex to automatically put a Stop Loss 15 pips below and move BS2 Stop Loss to the same level. So if price dips down 15 below the BS3, I break even cancelling BS2 and BS3 while BS1 is at break even. 5. Lastly if price goes further above BS3 I want BS2 to automatically put in a Take Profit of 185 pips above and BS3 Take Profit at 155 pips above.
Like I said I have been trying to do this in JForex but have been unable to do so. I need your help, maybe specific steps on how to do it.
Thank you! Kirill

Greetings.
You can use Trade Event start point, check what BS was just closed and then make changes from logic you'v described. Create the strategy and upload it here, then we can help you with it.
Best regards, Support team.

Thanks Vadim, most of the tutorials are based on the Tick Start Point that's why I was having trouble Question: What exactly do you mean by "check what BS was just closed" ? "check what Buy Stop was just closed?" , if that is so how does that relate to building the strategy? I'm confused

You can mark positions in comment field and then check that mark. For example: download/file.php?mode=view&id=5425
