Optimization test via J Forex

Hi Sirs,

I exported a simple strategy to optimize in JForex.
But the optimization is not select-able.

Where I'm wrong?

Hi:

Visual JForex do not have the needed @Configurable variables that allow to define the universe of tests i think.

The optimisation option is available for Visual JForex strategies, but you can optimise only strategies that have public parametra.

If their is nothing to optimise, the button stays grey.

If you want us to dig further, please post your strategy here.

Greetings! Indeed it is a bug.

To somehow bypass this you have to open a new strategy in the JForex platform and copy-paste the java-code, compile it and then in the historical tester you select your strategy and then you can tick optimization.

It should work then.

I just downloaded the strategy, opened it in Visual JForex, compile it, open my JForex platform, open the strategy and select it on the historical tester, as ussual.

I tried to do it all, but I do not activate the optimization.
I tried to do as the dirk, but I had problem.

Hi...

Before compiling you need to save the strategy file with the name corresponding to the name of the class with .java as extension.
Other alternative is to change the name of the class to name of the file.

Do You can open the same J Forex on multiple PCs simultaneously.

I work on one, the other runs optimizations?

You can open Different visual JForex on different windows of the same browser, on different browsers on the same computer and on different computers.
You can access your files from anywhere.

Hi Bruno,

1) I refered to JForex no Visual JForex to open simultaneously, same J Forex with same password on multiple PCs simultaneously.

2) Today I wanted to make sure that the same STRATEGY created in Visual JForex.
Then imported into JForex and launched.
And finally Optimized without changing the original parameters,

give the same result.

Instead I created a lot of confusion.
