Hello VJFX Team and Friends,
I have been using the Donchien Channel Indicator in my strategies but I face a problem when I use the shift option. In the the file provided, I want to measure the difference between the current low band of the Indicator with the previous and then take an action when the difference is greater than 2 pips. To get the previous band measurement, I use the Donchian with value of 1 in the Shift option. When the action is executed, you can see that the Donchian with Shift 1 does not read the correct data.
I assume the shift 1 moves the channel 1 space to the right side, like how we use it in normally in our charts.
Please advise if I am using it wrongly or if there is an bug in the indicator?
Thanks
Jules.

Hi Vadim,
Thanks for your assistance. I have often wondered when to use On Candle and when to use On Tick. Is there a post/forum that explains the difference and usage?
Regards
Julian
