can't run strategy historical tester

I'm trying to run a strategy in the historical tester and it does not execute. The buttons just flash, it compiles, then nothing happens, these strategies have worked fine in the past. I even tried using the default when you first create a strategy and it does not work. It appears there has been an update (processing stats). Am I doing something wrong?
