For back-testing the data download is pretty slow. E.g. a handful of currencies for a month takes many hours - limited by the Dukascopy server I guess, since I have a very fast connection.
Has the dukas copy team considered distributing their data via a peer-to-peer arrangement? Somehow machines connected to the dukas copy servers could act as peers for historical data... obviously only when the user agrees to be a peer. It might help to take the load off the server and allow people to download the data much faster for testing.
