I have burnt my portfolio in 3 days to irrecoverable condition.
I just can't sit idle for the rest of the month. Just wanted to know if it's allowed to open another account and trade in the contest. Will not indulge in self commenting and voting.
Hope to receive positive and early reply from your end.
I think of course it is possible to open another account but at that moment you wil be disqualified. I don't think it is so easy to delete all your money on your account, even if you bet all possible millions on wrong side it lasts several trades to get to 0. But it is just your problem of your pure money management or silly view on markets.
What if you have real 100 000 USD, would you trade it also in the same manner to be on 0 in 3 days? I don't think so. Dukascopy doesnot force anybody to trade large sums, you could have traded 0.001 million - with this money you could afford huge losses of thousand pips without ruining your account.
And another thing is - what is the threshold 3 days or 15 days? what if someone erase their account in 15 or 25 days, will they be allowed open another account and go on in contest? I think it is the same. Of course not. what would be the point of such a competition - not only virtual money but also limitless number of accounts? (by the way many brokers have such competition - have you heard about prize 1000.000 EUR in May - I guess I cannot quote the name of this broker) Then the winnner would be people with fastest fingers that are currently unemployed or on holiday and have some luck as well.
Anyway you could take part in next month contest or still you could make some video or automatic strategy in May- othe r2 contests I think Dukascopy is very generous in this way.
Or use unkle google to google other competitions in may - if you have nothing to do - you will see.
For your information - I took part in competition because I want to test my strategy before I play with real money, I am not interested in winning the prize - I will be happy if I get more then 1% in a month in long term. People who gain 500% profit hardly do this with real money in long term.
