What appear to be inconsistencies and duplicate entries in the Strategies tab
for Live Remote Strategies causing me confusion.

(Feel free to educate me, since I've been doing this for only a week or so, but
my intention is that each strategy should have only 1 entry in the Strategies
tab.)

Live Remote Server Strategy startup appeared to be sluggish, so 2 Strategies were
in the "Starting" state for a while.

I needed to restart platform for an unrelated issue, while 2 Strategies were
in the Starting state.

BUT, on restart, duplicate entries for Strategy HyperBot2 were shown.
(I didn't think this should be possible)

One of them appears to have entered the "Running" state, but a "stale entry"
is shown where HyperBot2 is shown as "Stopped".

Because of this confusion, I did a second "clean" restart of the JForex Platform, and the
second image shows even more inconsistency in the reports for HyperBot2. In this
case HyperBot2 is shown 3 times, as can be shown on the attached image.

The intention is that there is 1 and only 1 instance of each, so I was confused and
so I "removed" all HyperBotx Strategy entries, did a clean restart, and added them again.

After doing that, the JForex platform seems correct with 1 entry for each of the Strategies
as I have been expecting.

So this problem appears only when there are issues with startup/shutdown of
Strategies on the Live Remote Server. It looks like inconsistencies arise in
the Strategies tab.

Obviously, maintaining a consistent client-side view of the Remote Server is
challenging, and it looks like there are Bugs in JForex platform's ability to track
what is going on in cases where there are latencies in Server side startup response.

In the previous post, I just said the behavior was normal; however, the attached
image shows that there are, again, 2 instances of HyperBot2 and that is not
intended.

It may be that the Live Remote Server is reporting incorrectly to the JForex platform,
or the platform is creating duplicate entries.

Again, I'm just reporting this, and am very happy with the Live Remote Run behavior,
except in these cases of inconsistency where I am not sure whether or not I have
multiple or "stale" processes on the Remote Server.

Thanks for looking into this,
HyperScalper

Attached are timeout messages from Live Strategies attempting to start.

I've asked [email protected] whether or not Live Remote Strategies
can be segregated onto a set of servers which do NOT have DEMO or
Strategy Contest type activity.

After all, Live trading is critical, and it appears that response times are very
bad today, including the startup issues which I've reported previously.

Attached are timeout messages on Live Remote Strategy start.

Here's more of the issues when the Live Remote Servers
appear to be overloaded.

In the attached, it is not clear whether the Strategy has correct
Preset initialization. At least that is not shown, and the extra entry
is also the result of a timeout failure in Remote Run.

Thank you for working on this issue, and I am also awaiting release
of the API 2.9.4 functionality for Remote Run and (hopefully)
management methods suitable for a robust Live implementation.

I have the same problem.
I can`t remote start any of my strategies on live. Remote run on Demo is OK.

How to solve the problem?

Server was overloaded, possibly due to big subscribed instruments set by default (taken from JForex platform).
Now all remote strategies must explicitly subscribe to instruments themselves.
