In the past, if you were on, say, the strategy messages tab, the system messages tab would be highlighted in red if a compile failed, and black if it succeeded. This was helpful.

Now the system messages tab highlights in black whether the compile fails or succeeds, which is not helpful.

I assume this is an oversight and not a design change?

Either way, it would be appreciated if you could restore the old behaviour, as now you have to click to the system messages tab to see if you have a failed compile.

A good bit of time has passed and this is still not fixed.

It's quite an annoying bug, and would surely only take a few moments to put right.

It would be great if someone could at least reply and indicate what you plan to do about this
