In fact it was never possible to fix the pip grid. If e.g. 10 points were chosen, it did not mean the grid was fixed at 10 points always. Therefore we have changed both - time and price - scales to adjust automatically and more user friendly. 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000... points steps are used now.
However we may reconsider customizing the grid with the distance fixed always. I am not sure if that would be useful and look good at the same time. Setting 1 point grid would look ugly when zoomed out on the Daily chart e.g. It would make sence to customize the setting on every period and do not forget that 10 points grid on EUR/USD is OK, but not enough on XAU/USD chart. This setting cannot be global, I am afraid.

Well, that´s not exactly like that. We could fix the grid size in PIPs before (ex:100 pips), and it remained constant through out the chart. It´s very important to keep that feature. Otherwise we cannot see easily the volatility of the market and it really downgrades the quality of the platform.
Please, return to previous settings. It´s more important that it seems.

We´re very upset, the pip Grid doesn't work today. It was perfect last week.
It´s very important. We are a lot of traders that we cant operate without it.
We a loosing our time, and we can´t analyze correctly the charts... So we´ll have to change to another platforms.
Please we need that solve as soon as possible the problem. we can´t wait any more time
Thank you.

It is possible to set the minimum value for price scale and grid in JForex version 2.32. In case of zoom out this value will be multiplied with 2,3,4,5... in order to avoid too many horizontal grid lines on the chart.
