Hello,
I notice that after your last update, where you included the base period [7] on renko charts, the data on the persbbands indicator is different from the charts before the update. Please see the attached images and you can see that during the same period of time, the indicator crosses the 50 level in different times.
I use a strategy based on this indicator and apparently the strategy is still working with the old data as it takes trades not based on the new data.
Why is this? Is it a bug?

Yes having Problem with my macd divergence indicator on renko.. If you click edit indicator it changes all the arrow locations showing divergence

All the price based periods except ticks bars are calculated from interpolated 1 Hour candles. We have switched from OHLC interpolation method to Cubic spline, which is more accurate. We will switch to the best possible method - calculating from ticks - or at least allow choosing the method in the future. The method from the ticks is very accurate, but very slow at the moment. We need to optimize/improve it before it goes public.

What does base period on renko charts mean? Why is that needed?

The answer is simple - performance. We need to know the starting point in time which is tricky on price based periods. Base period makes it much easier.
