Hi, on Linux this code @Configurable(value = "String Parameter", readOnly = true) public String string = "string parameter"; draws the string value with WHITE font on WHITE background in 'Define Parameters' window. So, string value is invisible.

Just from curiosity, why do you want to have a parameter that is read-only? What is the purpose of that?

The purpose is: (a) to check the strategy's version number before running and (b) to log the strategy's version number as the strategy's parameter when running the strategy on the Remote Server.
