Often during authentication, the digit images in the PIN entry pad are truncated on the right-hand-side edge of the images, beyond (human) recognition. I can provide screen captures on demand.

It's certainly true that these Captchas are far more difficult to read than security would require.
If it's "beyond human recognition" then it's far too difficult.
I routinely cycle through a handful of them before I get something I can both recognize, and type in. I don't much care for typing in 12 digits so I always ignore those.
I have even filtered these images in my standalone system, to enhance the contrast, but even that doesn't always help human recognition enough.
I'd like to see the Captcha system less intimidating..... My eyesight is not what it used to be, but for anyone really visually impaired, I would think it's nearly impossible for them to log in Live without some magnifying or contrast tools.

We suggest to register the static IP address of yours to bypass the PIN. If you would connect from that address, you would be able to do it without entering the PIN. The addresses can be registered in the My account section available in the Front office or from the JForex Porfolio menu.

The problem is that in some parts of the world, static IP addresses are really hard to come by. What do you suggest in such cases?

Hi Dukascopy Support:
It is possible to use a dns name instead of the ip with/without mask ???
For example i have dynamic ip on my internet connection, but also i have a dynamic dns associated with my dynamic ip. When my ip is changed, the dns takes care of this change and returns the correct ip keeping the dns name.
If not possible, it's maybe a feature suggestion.
Best regards
JL

Here is my Portfolio menu, this is the FXDD JForex Live platform white label variant which US residents use. Where is the option for Static IP ? Thanks! HyperScalper

Hi hyperscalper: I don't know if by being a FXDD account, you can't access directly to the account on Dukascopy servers... My JForex client have this option... that opens the "Account" page with the browser where you can change the settings. Trade well JL

Platform Support wrote: You can register the range of addresses then Thanks this would be very convenient but Dukascopy only allows the last byte of the IP address to range. Sometimes dynamic IP addresses range the last two bytes. What should I do in this case?

As a US resident, I have to use the FXDD brokerage, to gain access to JForex and Dukascopy.
Will I be able to establish a login which can bypass the Captcha requirement?
Thanks, HyperScalper

Why don't they just make it easier for a human to read in the first place?
I can't register each and every IP when I'm out using my mobile phone to trade from - it changes all the time and there seems to be no pattern - and trying to read these pin codes with the pointless scribbles on is INFURIATING!
