I coded an ea in the latest version of jforex, I needed to look into another ea for a code example i opened it. It opened on top of the ea I coded and overwrote the whole thing. Now I do not have an ea I send hours coding, this has happened several times, its very frustrating. Can you do something about this bug?

Hello
The built in editor for writing strategies is in my opinion "not really good". You can not even go steps back... so if you delete everything, its really gone, forever.... so better use eclipse or a comparable develpment environment.

if you don't want an IDE and prefer something basic, try Notepad++ on Windows
FYI, I personally use Eclipse too.

i am used to that problem with jforex editor as well - just save after changes before compiling and it will stop throwing file has been edited outside of the editor and messing your code up

I will recommend to use Netbeans, or use a good text/code editor like Geany.
