I've been running into a problem displaying just one instrument on a workspace. What happens is, after the Dukascopy client loads and the chart is drawn, the bid/offer panel updates with changes (which is normal) but the chart displays the last tick it received, then flats afterward.

The chart does show historical candles, just the current candle no longer updates like it should and remains 'stuck' on the tick it had when it loaded.

To remedy this, I've been doing the following:

First, make sure to back up all your work by copying the JForex folder located here (Windows systems):

\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\My Documents\JForex

Then, delete the .cache and .settings folders here:

\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\JForex

To be thorough, and ensure that you re-download the current JForex client, go to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel
and click on the "Java" icon.

This loads a small utility panel. It should display the "General" tab first. On the bottom section "Temporary Internet Files" click the "Settings" button. This will pop up a new window. Click the "Delete Files" button, and then "OK" to close the window.

Now, go to the Dukascopy website and click on the login button for JForex Demo.

This will cause the client to be re-downloaded and verified. Upon logging in and launching JForex, you will find it comes up with the default workspace. Not to worry!

Just click up top on File --> Open Workspace

This pops up a navigation window. There will be a long string of letters and numbers for the current workspace (make a note of this). We don't want that, so click on the small folder icon to the right of it with the green up-arrow. This takes us higher up in the file hierarchy and we see *another* folder with a different label. Choose this - it is your original settings.

Select the "Workspace.xml" file within, and click the "Open" button.

Your workspace will be restored, and the chart should update properly.

Hope this helps someone!
