Offer a new modern language independent REST and Websocket based api
which does not changing continuously with every platform update,
and does not force the user to use java.

I bet you may do it quicker yourself :) - just embed an REST-API server with JForex-API-proxy implementation of your choice into your JForex plugin and deploy somewhere on VPS. Or the same, I guess, can be implemented within standalone client on top of JForexSDK.

The jforex/web version already using websocket and rest calls.
