The available documentation is javadocs and wiki and we don't plan to create another type of documentation.
Any bugs please report in the Bug Reports section.

yes, but JForexAPI 2.9.6.1 uses other libraries:

msg-0.0.4.jar
greed-common-304.jar
transport-client-2.5.3.jar
transport-common-0.3.3.jar
dds2-common-2.5.6.jar
DDS2-jClient-JForex-2.31.jar

which is not open source

I would like to write very simple dukascopy api (only submitOrder, setStopLoss, order.close() and little more) without any dependency jars and of course without bugs, it's should be minimal so risk of make mistake is also minimal

You can make an IDE project with JForex-API.jar as the only dependency - in this case you will be able to write your strategies, but you will have to run them only in the Platform.

You can use IEngine.broadcast to send messages to your locally-ran strategies and then use the sockets from your local strategies.
