what criteria for selection - article contest

reading thru the rules just makes more confused as the criteria for selection is unclear. I understand that the first 20 are to be selected but what "first 20" are we talking about? Is it the rank of the article itself or the collective rank obtained by the contestant that is listed in the "Contest Standings" category. Reason is the contest standings rank is different to the submitted article's rank especially when more than 1 article was submitted. So anyone knows which category's ranking is taken as selection criteria? Is it the article's rank itself or the rank shown in the "contest standings"? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but still not clear to me. Does this mean the selection is based on the "Contest Standings" list?

Thanks Support for your prompt response. Is it possible to edit the title or contents of an article once submitted?

Greetings. Generally speaking - no. You submit the final version of the article. If you could change the contents, it wouldn't be fair. Should you want to add something, please use the comments under the article. But if, for instance, you have made a typo in the title or something went terribly wrong with pictures, formatting, etc. , we can help you out. You can send a request via e-mail to [email protected].
