Hi Support, I would like to understand the calculation of commission in order to place orders to leave me in the profit. Here's my issues: Account = 4000 Commission rate = $35 per million Pair = EURUSD First example order = 8.33 over 2 pips @ 0.04075 made 2.1 pips = 8.56 and after commission of 3.52 I have 5.04 in profit. This means that I paid 41% of my winning in commission. This I don't understand. I wanted to target 5 profit so I added 63% ie. 5 +63% = 8.33 Second example 1st order = 8.33 over 2 pips @ 0.04075 loss 3.5 = -14.26 2nd order = Target 5 + loss 14.26 + commission 2.66*2 + 63% to pay the winnings commissions= 0.20032. I then win 2 pips giving 40.07. after commission is taken out I my account balance is now 3994.35 with a total commission of the two orders = 31.46 I don't understand why I can lose 14.26 then win 40.07 and still after commission be approx 6 down. To be honest I'm not bothered about what is taken. I only want to know how it is calculated so I know how to work it to my advantage. Can you assist with these calculations as per my present situation. Cheers |
