Puzzling Tick Chart notation

JForex FXDD ver. 2.30
JForex API ver. 2.9.5.1

In the pulldown for chart type/interval what does
"3 ticks[7]" mean shown in the attached
screenshot. I never saw that before.

3 ticks means each bar consists of 3 ticks.
What is the [7] ?

Maybe this is posted in the wrong forum category

Then I looked into Tools / Preferences / Period and
saw these choices in the screen shot, all with the [7]
so what does it mean?
