I believe that when I use PLACE_BID or PLACE_OFFER in manual trading from the JForex platform, and there is any partial fill, that the platform doesn't appear to offer the option "Cancel the Unfilled Portion" of the order.

This is something you should consider adding to the right-click context options when trading from the charts, and also adding to the context options for Order Table lines.

[I have also requested that we be able to change the price of a partially filled order, but that is a separate issue which the JForex team has already committed to investigating.]

I had more trouble with this today in Live trading using the JForex platform manually.

PLACE_BID or PLACE_OFFER is partially filled.

1) I cannot cancel the unfill portion with JForex (a Strategy module could do this)
2) I cannot change the price to encourage a fill due to Order state restrictions.

My only option is to CLOSE the partially filled order, which will be "at market price".
The partial fill quantity can even be sub-micro lots, such as 0.000500. That is too small for a counter order (one opposite in size), but the original partially filled order cannot be cancelled anyway through JForex, so it persists. The only option seems to be CLOSE at market.

Even if it could be cancelled from a Strategy module, no counter order could be placed for lot size 0.000500, so the only option is CLOSE. Minimum order size is for lot size 0.001

This issue has a couple of related aspects.

1) JForex should permit partial close
2) The Order state diagram should change to permit partial fills to accept price change, perhaps only for the PLACE_BID or PLACE_OFFER order types, where the problem arises frequently.
