I'm working daytime for a big company in Switzerland - they have proxies and firewalls all over the place. I don't get JForex to work (due to the proxy I suppose) but also not the Web platform (tested with IE and Chrome).
What exactly is the Web platform doing resp. what special needs are there as it seems that a standard HTTP-connection is not enough?
Be sure that your Java Network Proxy is setup correctly. In Java Control Panel, press "Network Setting..." button and check "Direct connection" radio-button. Be sure that your firewall is setup correctly. The firewall TCP/IP port 10443 must be opened.
Web platform
Web platform uses HTTPS 443 port.

Use Proxifier (www.proxifier.com) if you are not in charge of a company router
