From what I understand, the settings directory is not configurable and is forced into [user's home directory]/JForex/.settings/ This goes against *nix best practices. Please allow the user to configure the location of the ".settings" directory - maybe through a jnlp setting? for example: javaws -J-Djnlp.client.settings=/home/buyandhold/.jforex/ https://www.dukascopy.com/client/demo/jclient/jforex.jnlp Or please move the .settings directory to a more conventional location such as: /home/buyandhold/.jforex/ Thank you for considering this request Dukascopy support/devs.

I'd like to second this request...kind of annoying for linux users like myself. Although this isn't a show stopper, it would be nice to adhere to linux program standards.
thanks, jForexUser

Support - can you suggest how to use this feature now that it has been implemented?
Thanks!

It is implemented as an additional parameter being run through command line. It will be available in a next platform version.
-J-Djnlp.client.settings=/home/.jforex/ .....

-J-Djnlp.client.settings=/home/.jforex/ ..... Version 2.13.10 is out - this feature doesn't seem to work. Expected in a different version?
