i've just seen, that you implemented a tick bar for charts. This is exactly what i've asked for weeks ago

But why is there a list to choose from 1 - 25 ticks? I need ticks from 150 - 50000. I see the same problems
for seconds (and other periods). What if someone wants to use 100s charts or something else?

Please remove the list-selection and add a number field instead where we can type our custom periods, that
would make mor sense. I think the periods are calculated and not hardcoded, so that should make no problems
and we all can use our custom periods like we want

A display screen usually contains 2000 bars. If you want to display 50000 ticks in a one bar, you will need to recalculate 10000000 ticks. It is pretty costly high resource-intensive operation. Do you really need such feature?

The most important time frames for me would be the tick charts from 100 - 4800. I don't want to
write the exact numbers here

Instead of 50.000, i can use a day chart too. A tick chart gives more detail, but i do not often use
this larger time frame.

1. I vote for the realization of tick bars to 10000 ticks per bar .. (hardware resources - it is the customer's problem, right?)

i would also suggest that the user may choose how many "days" to load. for example, if i want to use a 150er tick chart and only want to see the last 3 days, the historical data should load really fast. and if the user could choose the end date, it would be possible to have historical charts.
